Evocabank Supported the Restoration of Notre-Dame Cathedral

On the evening of April 15, 2019, a major fire broke out in the Cathedral, causing significant damage.

Emphasizing the importance of global cultural heritage, as well as Armenian-French interstate relations and the warm, friendly ties between the two nations, Evocabank donated funds on April 18 toward the restoration of the cathedral.

The construction of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral began in 1163 at the initiative of Bishop Maurice de Sully and lasted approximately 200 years. In 1991, the cathedral was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
