Network Administrator

Role description:

Evoca is looking for Network Administrator who will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Bank's computer networks, primary duties will include ensuring the smooth operation of the network, optimizing its performance, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

What will you be doing?

  • plan, design, and implement network systems, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, and internet connections;
  • configure and install various network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs;
  • monitor network performance and ensure network availability and reliability;
  • perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations;
  • troubleshoot and resolve network problems, including hardware and software issues;
  • implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols;
  • conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions;
  • provide technical support and guidance to users and IT staff;
  • maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, network changes, and incident reports;
  • generate regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and system updates;
  • work closely with other IT team members, management, and external vendors to coordinate network activities and projects.

What skills are we looking for?

  • university degree in computer science or other technical fields;
  • relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSA) are a plus;
  • at least 3 years of professional experience;
  • strong knowledge of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN);
  • proficiency with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and network operating systems (CISCO, Palo Alto);
  • experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools;
  • excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
