What will you be doing?

  • develop and execute the Bank's payments strategy;
  • lead and manage the work of Payment Cards, ATMs and Terminals and Payment Partnerships divisions;
  • identify and execute new payment projects using new technologies and tools;
  • drive initiatives to improve the users’ payment experience across various platforms– branches, apps, online;
  • manage the collaborations of the Bank with its international partners;
  • ensure new payment partnerships with leading companies and other institutions;
  • stay up to date on local and global market trends and issues affecting the payments industry;
  • conduct payment market trends analysis and come up with new suggestions;
  • represent the Bank at official meetings, industry events and tradeshows with the intention of gaining new business leads and contacts;
  • effectively manage and delegate the work within the department, providing support and guidance to the team for continuous development;
  • prepare and submit periodic reports to management board.

What skills are we looking for?

  • university degree in finance, computer science, business or other related field, MBA or advanced degree is preferred;
  • at least 5 years of experience in payments strategy and operations in a fin-tech;
  • hands-on experience in developing and executing successful payments strategies (ideally with banks, payment companies, and digital wallet providers);
  • good grasp of Armenian banking legislation and payment service processes;
  • well-established relationships and network within the business and fin-tech community;
  • strong understanding of global payment methods, systems, and regulations;
  • proactive mindset with business-savvy understanding;
  • strong critical-thinking and decision-making abilities with a focus on identifying innovative solutions to payment-related challenges;
  • excellent leadership and team management skills;
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • result-driven with the ability to multitask and set priorities;
  • perfect command of Russian and English languages.
