Technical Monitoring Specialist

Role description:

Technical Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth workings of technical issues and maintaining documentation of monitoring processes and procedures․

What will you be doing?

• perform production support activities which involve assignment of issues and issue analysis and resolution within the specified SLAs;
• monitor and analyze system performance metrics such as CPU usage, memory utilization, network traffic and disk space to identify any anomalies or potential bottlenecks;
• collaborate with Development teams and external vendors to ensure effective application services;
• maintain documentation of monitoring processes and procedures;
• manage Web servers, internal and external monitoring for production system;
• prepare relevant reports.

What skills are we looking for?

• higher education in the technical field;
• at least 2 years of work experience in the IT sphere;
• hands-on experience in installing, managing and monitoring network infrastructures that include one or more of the following: Windows, Linux Servers, Web Servers, monitoring systems (Zabbix or similar);
• knowledge of IP Networking including: DNS, Virtualization, switches and routers;
• advanced communication skills;
• flexibility and analytical mind;
• ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced environment.
